OCTIO surveys the Aasta Hansteen and Ormen Lange fields

OCTIO has just finished surveying the seabed at the Aasta Hansteen and Ormen Lange gas fields, operated by Equinor Energy AS and A/S Norske Shell respectively. The surveys featured the new gWatch technology, introducing for the first time the new generation of gravity sensors in an offshore application. OCTIO Gravitude to survey the Ormen Lange field in 2018

A/S Norske Shell has awarded OCTIO Gravitude a contract for surveying Ormen Lange , the second largest gas field in Norway. This will be the fourth full-coverage gravimetry and subsidence survey in the field, after those in 2012, 2014 and 2016. OCTIO DrillWatch project completed in the Barents Sea
